Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Services:
The Physical Rehabilitation Centre on the scenic 25th floor of Piyavate International Hospital offers the full range of physical therapy rehabilitation services and occupational rehabilitation using modern, advanced physical rehabilitation equipment and rehabilitation medicine.
One of several unique advantages of the occupational rehabilitation hospital is the synergy achieved by working in close cooperation with the Neuroscience Centre on the 4th floor to treat and prevent disorders and disease of the brain, spinal cord, muscle and nerves. American Board certified and internationally-recognized neurologists, paediatric neurosurgeons, psychiatrists and clinical psychologists work closely with the doctors of physical medicine and rehabilitation, including Dr. Piyanuj Ruckpanich who was formerly a Research Fellow at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, California.
The physical therapy rehabilitation facility serves everyone from children to seniors, both in-patients and out-patients, helping them regain a high level of independence and quality of life according to their potential. Headed by a physiatrist, a rehabilitation specialist physician specializing in rehabilitation medicine along with an assistant expert in rehabilitation nursing will begin the rehabilitation services with a physical rehabilitation assessment and treatment evaluation to prescribe the best rehabilitation program for each individual. All treatments and physical therapy will be carried out by qualified and dedicated medical personnel such as a physical therapist, physical rehabilitation specialist, neuromuscular therapist, clinical psychologist, speech pathologist, speech therapist, recreational therapist, nutritionist and prosthetic/orthotic specialist.
