MEDICO has teamed up with a team of dedicated and experienced healthcare professionals with years of experience in patient-care and geriatric nursing. A carefully selected group of certified nurses (both male, female) and therapists has been assembled to provide either post-surgery nursing care (washing, bandaging, walking, attending to medical needs) at the comfort and privacy of your hotel-room or home, while therapists will attend to healing processes and body rehabilitation, or elder people may wish to have such assistance on a long-term basis.
This “Mobile Nursing Care” is available on hourly, daily, weekly basis – upon request of the clients.

“SILVER SPRING” CARE:
The process of ageing is associated with changes in the body both internally and externally. While the external, physical attributes associated with ageing are often easily visible (e.g. loss of hair, skin changes, increased body fat) there are more subtle changes within the different organ systems that are significant but not easily observable. These internal changes are often associated with an increased risk of chronic diseases, and also result in atypical presentations when older persons fall ill.
With the demands of living in a modern fast-paced society it is not always easy to give the level of care which our elderly loved ones deserve. Even providing primary carers at home like maids may not be sufficient as they need to be properly trained.
Our team of specially trained gerontology nurses will provide care for older persons in the comfort of their own homes. They will visit your elder family members, assess their needs and condition, and then design a care management program customized for the individual in their daily environment. This is done in consultation with other specialists and aims to identify potential problems early, and introduce preventive care.
There will be regular follow-up sessions to monitor the elder’s condition, progress, health parameters, medication needs, other care requirements and exercise regimen. Your primary care-giver will also be trained on proper care processes.
Our care procedures are based on US specified guidelines on quality care for the elderly. We can also liaise and update your personal medical professionals on your status.
At “Mobile Nursing Care” we assess the needs of the older person, especially with regards to their health status, and the changes that may accompany the ageing process. With the expertise of our specialists in geriatric care we aim to identify potential problems early and will provide an individualized care-plan that may include regular monitoring of health parameters, review of medication needs, nursing care and exercise programmes. We work closely with your own doctors and family and seek ultimately to retard age-related deterioration through health maintenance, promotion and education.
